TypeScript: Beyond The Basics, is a book targeted at experienced developers coming to TypeScript from other programming languages like Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc. 

Hence it would skip the basics, and go straight to explaining and exploring the various features of TypeScript's type system that makes it unique.

The objective of the book is not to teach programming but to help experienced developers better understand TypeScript and how to maximise it's features
